Awards have come and gone for the movies ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Badai
Do’. Gangubai Kathiawadi won awards in 9 categories including Best Actress
and Best Director. Badai Do won the film awards in six categories including
Best Actor. The song ‘Kesaria’ from ‘Brahmastra Part-1’ won the best
lyricist award as well as the best singer award. The film ‘Kashmir Files’,
which received the most nominations, did not receive a single award.

Gangubai Kathiawadi was chosen as the best film, while Sanjay Leela
Bhansali, who directed the same film, was chosen as the best director and
Alia Bhatt, who played the female lead, was chosen as the best actress.
Rajkumar Rao won the best actor award for Badai Do. Shibi Chadha, who acted
in the same movie, won the best supporting actress award. Also, Best Film
(Critics) Badai Do (Harshavardhan Kulkarni), Best Actor (Critics) Sanjay
Mishra (Vadh), Best Actress (Critics) Tabu (Bhool Bhulaya 2), Bhumi
Pednekar (Badai Do),
Arjit Singh won the best playback singer award and Amit Bhattacharya won
the best lyricist award for Kesaria song from the movie ‘Brahmastra:
Shiva’. Andrea Kevichusa (Anek) won the Best Debut Film Actress award,
Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnawal (Vadh) won the Best Debut Film
Director award and Ankush Geedam (Jhand) won the Best Debut Film Actor
award.
