In a shocking incident reported from the national capital, a man was burnt alive after his parked SUV caught fire in Alipur area on Sunday. So far, the deceased has not been identified yet.
The fire department was informed about the incident on 7.03 am. The caller told officials about a car-Kia Seltos- catching fire at Palla Road.
Three fire brigade trucks were rushed to the spot and it took nearly an hour to douse the fire. The car was parked on the roadside and it suddenly caught fire. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer north) Devesh Kumar Mahala said the police have recovered some clothes from the spot, according to a report in Times of India. According to a police officer, only bones were left and the body was completely burnt. Police have denied any foul play in the incident.
