When discussing the subject, Akshay Kumar remarked, “It’s a part I’ve
always wanted to play. I believe it is a tremendous responsibility to
portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the big screen. I was shocked when
Raj Thackeray requested me to play this part.”
