Four weeks have passed since the Delhi ashram’s alleged illegal imprisonment of girls was discovered.

The CBI was charged with looking into the claims.

The Delhi High Court criticized the CBI for failing to act appropriately in
this case.

The Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya, a spiritual ashram maintained by
self-described godman Virender Dev Dixit in Delhi’s Rohini neighborhood,
must register under statute law within four weeks, according to a Friday
order from the Delhi High Court.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), designated a proclaimed offender
in the eyes of the law, was also criticized by the court for failing to
take proper action against the self-styled godman.
