A few weeks ago, we began gathering voters’ feedback via mobile and e-mail.
Only a day after the announcement of assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party
(AAP) president Arvind Kejriwal revealed the name of his party’s nominee
for chief minister in Gujarat. This time around, Delhi’s Chief Minister was
betting on Isudan Gadhvi, one of Gujarat’s most popular TV personalities,
to win over Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Gadhafi, who was 40 then, was a well-known TV anchor and journalist in
Gujarat. In addition, he has edited for several other media outlets. Gadhvi
lives in the Dwarka district and serves as the AAP’s general secretary for
the entire country of India.
