inaugural Asian Squash Team Championships with a 2-0 victory over Kuwait.

After Ramit Tandon put India ahead with an 11-5, 11-7, 11-4 victory over
Ali Aramezi, Ghosal clinched the match. After that, the team had an
insurmountable lead after Ghosal quickly dispatched Ammar Altamimi 11-9,
11-2, and 11-3. Before losing to Malaysia in the finals, they had won every
game in Pool A. They had beaten Qatar, Pakistan, Kuwait, South Korea, and
Chinese Taipei.
