had the strongest reaction. Former Prime Minister and Congress leader Rajiv
Gandhi’s assassins were released from prison, and the grand old party was
not happy about it. As a result, political unrest erupted in Tamil Nadu,
where the DMK is a coalition partner of the United Progressive Alliance.
