The names of the musicians who are a step closer to winning the most
significant music award of the year were revealed by The Record Academy on
November 15. However, in a typical award ceremony style, not every
deserving singer’s praise awoke to some love.
Both Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato released new albums during the eligibility
period. However, neither of them was nominated.
