Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States, said on Wednesday from
Nusa Dua that it was “unlikely” that a missile that killed two in NATO ally
Poland was shot from Russia but that the United States would help Poland’s
probe into what Poland dubbed a “Russian-made” missile. Vice President Joe
Biden made the comments after he had met with G7 and NATO leaders in
Indonesia on Wednesday morning to discuss the attack in eastern Poland near
the country’s border with Ukraine, which left two people dead. When asked
by reporters whether Russia was responsible for firing the missile, Biden
said, “There is preliminary intelligence that contradicts that.” Based on
the trajectory, it seems highly unlikely that it was launched from Russia.
