On Sunday, November 27, Buckingham Palace stated that the former Duchess of
Cornwall, 75, has nominated six of her friends as the Queen’s companions.
According to a palace release, “the job of Queen’s Companion will be to
help The Queen Consort in some of her major official and State
obligations,” in addition to her Private Secretary/Deputy Private Secretary.
