Although many players have fallen ill in the lead-up to the first cricket
Test between Pakistan and England, the game will still begin on Thursday as
planned.
A statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board two hours before the
start time on Thursday said, “The England and Wales Cricket Board has
informed the PCB that they are in a position to field an XI, and as a
result, the first test will commence as per schedule today at the
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.”
