It all started on Saturday, December 3, 2022, when Shiv Sena president
Uddhav Thackeray attacked Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari amid a
political dispute over Koshyari’s ‘Shivaji’s statement. A set of criteria
for selecting the Governor was also proposed. Thackeray responded angrily
to Singh’s comments, saying, “We shall show what ‘Maharashtra’ is all about
if the Governor is not removed amid talking on Shivaji.
“The Governor will not be replaced no matter what we say.
