Use protective glasses. This helps a lot as we will have a buffer in
between before the screen reaches our eyes. Also it protects from straining
your eyes. It is important the we consciously blink our eyes as the blink
rate reduces when viewing the screen.
Distance from screen is also a factor that has to be taken care of. Do not
go extremely close to the screen that you view the screen converging your
eyes. Also the light from the screen is synthetic and exposure to it for
long hours is fatal.
Managing screen time and taking protective measures are equally important.
