With a Test series loss to England under their belt, the Babar Azam-led
Pakistan side is being asked to answer some serious questions. On Monday,
England won by 26 runs in Multan to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the
three-Test series. During the postgame press conference, Mohammad Yousuf,
Pakistan’s batting coach, was questioned about the team’s decision to stick
with vice-captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan despite his poor
performance in the series thus far. Yousuf responded, “I don’t think it’s
appropriate to ask me about that. Don’t take offence, but this isn’t my
turf.”
