The Covid virus, via its sub variant BF.7 found in India after three
positive cases reported from NRIs in the country.
The BF7 variant that is currently causing havoc conditions in China
reportedly found same variant from three NRIs- a woman from Wadodara and
another person from Odissa tested positive for the variant.
With the sudden rise in the new Covid infection in China and other
countries, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed over the
Covid-19 situation in the on Wednesday. As the variant found in India, the
Centre has also asked the states to ramp up the whole genome sequencing of
positive cases to track the new variant.As several global epidemiologists are estimating that more than
per cent of the world’s population are likely to be infected over the next
90 days with deaths likely in the millions.
