on Friday. But, with the amazing response from the audience, that one day
turned into a month. It felt a bit sad when ‘RRR’ did not get an official
Oscar entry from India. So we applied for Oscar on our own. Keeravani and
Chandra Bose are in nomination. Nominations for Oscars tickets should be
mailed to the Oscars Committee. We bought each ticket for our family for
1500 dollars. We bought 750 dollars for another four people. All the news
coming out is false. Our planned budget for ‘RRR’ campaign is Rs.5 crores.
After receiving the nominations, we increased the budget some more. Finally
it was Rs.8.5 crores. “Three PR agencies have played a key role in
increasing the interest of the Academy voters in the film,” he said.
