sources, Pakistan team is going to Bangladesh instead of India for the ICC
World Cup matches. This proposal was put forward by the Pakistan Cricket
Board to the ICC at the meeting of the International Cricket Council held
last week.ICC is planning to introduce a hybrid model in the case of stadiums
in the Asia Cup to be held this year. The reason for that is that Pakistan
is the host of Asia Cup 2023. The Indian team is not ready to go to
Pakistan. With this, efforts are being made to organize team India matches
in other countries than Pakistan and India.
This proposal was mentioned in the board’s side lines meeting held in Dubai
recently. It seems that these issues have been discussed in the ICC meeting
so that India can participate in the Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan.
Responding to the Asian Cup 2023, the Asian Cricket Council has agreed that
the Indian team is planning to host the matches in a country other than
Pakistan. However, there is still no clarity in which country to host the
cricket matches in which Team India will participate. Currently, according
to the information available with the ACC, there is a possibility that the
Indian team will play the Asia Cup matches in Dubai, Oman, Sri Lanka or
England. If Team India goes to the finals, that final match will also be
held in a country other than Pakistan , which is hosting the tournament .
