IPL. After losing the first two matches played, the Hyderabad team won
their first match against Punjab Kings by 8 wickets in their third match.
Captain Shikhar Dhawan, who was the opener for Punjab, did a one-match show
with an unbeaten 99 runs, but the Hyderabadi hit the target in front of
them with ease.
Rahul Tripathi scored 74* and captain Aidan Markram scored 37 runs for
Hyderabad. The Punjab Kings team who batted earlier scored 143 runs for
the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Except Dhawan (99 not out)
and Sam Curran (22) on behalf of Punjab, none of the other players could
even score in double digits. But Dhawan fought alone as the team captain.
Mayank Markhande took 4 wickets for Hyderabad. Umran Malik, Marco Jansen
took 2 wickets each and Bhuvneshwar took 1 wicket.

target.. The openers could not give the team a good start. Hyderabad
opener Harry Brooke (13) who failed miserably in the last two matches, got
out for just one run and raised his hand once again. But Mayank Agarwal,
who came with him, performed consistently for some time and got out with 21
runs.
In this sequence, Rahul Tripathi, who came to the crease after Harry
Brook, exploded with an unbeaten half century. He scored 74 runs of the
