Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom and a
documentary director, nearly yelled through tears on the witness stand on
Monday when she testified that Harvey Weinstein raped her in a hotel room.
As she recalled her thoughts during the alleged rape in 2005, she said, “He
knows this is not normal!” at the Los Angeles trial. “He must realize this
is not permission!”
She screamed and exclaimed, “Oh God!” as if she was entirely overtaken by
