composition of Natu Natu Song for RRR Movie. Keeravani was a favourite raga
for his father Shiva Shakti Datta, who named after his son expecting to be
part of Indian music.Being part of agriculture and mingled with tribals of Raichur area who were
attending for the farm labour works, Mr.Keeravani had succeeded from
gaining tribal folk along with his exclusive learning of violin at Kovur.
Though, Keeravaani was born into a Telugu family in Kovvur,in
West Godavari district , joint family of his father Shiva Shakthi Datta and
Vijayendra Prasad had years long attachment with border areas of Karnataka.
The family moved to Hirekotikal village of Manvi Taluk in 1968 by
purchasing 7 acres of land that was closer to temple town Mantralayam.
Director Rajamouli also born in Manvi Taluka. Mr.Keeravani had spent many
years in the camp and later shifted to Chennai for entry into film
industry.
The family had first owned 2 acres at Chilakadone in Alur- Adoni road
near Mantralayam. Mr.Keeravani had recalled crucial periods of his joint
family during several interviews and also about association with abot 40
tribals who were part of his agricultural practices.
Keeravani first began his career as an assistant music director with
Malayalam composer C. Rajamani[6] and Telugu composer K. Chakravarthy in
1987. He assisted in movies such as Collectorgari Abbayi and Bharathamlo
Arjunudu in the late 1980s.
The tollywood music director whose family is dedicated in the film
industry achieved a great peak after facing many financial hurdles even to
lead a family, has been an ardent devotee of Guru Raghavendra Swamy and a
regular visitor to Mantralayam. <
