Trisha, Shobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lakshmi and others, the second part
of the film released at record theaters worldwide.
It got a hit on the first day. 60 percent occupancy in Tamil,
10 percent in Hindi, 34 percent in Malayalam, 35 percent in Telugu and 25
percent in Kannada.
The film collected Rs. 38 crores collected. In Tamil Nadu Rs. 25 crores
earned. In AP and Telangana Rs. 3-4 crores seems to have come. In
Karnataka another Rs. Trade sources say that 4-5 crores have been
collected. The collections are likely to increase on Saturdays and Sundays
which are weekends. Meanwhile, PS1 in India costs around Rs. 327 crores
and collected Rs.169 crores abroad.
