Suriya to play double role

The upcoming film, which would be Suriya’s 42nd overall, has the working
title “Suriya 42” since he is set to play two roles in it. Leading roles in
the fantasy action film, directed by Siruthai Siva, are played by Bollywood
star Disha Pattani.
After wrapping up filming in Goa, the cast and crew have moved on to
Chennai to continue the production. They plan to travel all over Tamil Nadu
after that. Production is moving quite quickly, and the movie will most
certainly be released in 3D as well.
According to IANS’s sources in the film industry, Suriya portrays two
roles, one from the present and one from the past.
Disha Pattani, who is making her screen debut, released the following
statement on her transition to the Tamil film industry: “I’m ecstatic to
finally share the news about my upcoming collaboration with the legendary
Suriya Sir and Siva Sir. It’s exciting to be a part of a massive production
with so many epic components for moviegoers to enjoy.”
She went on to say that she was “very pleased” to bring “my never-seen
avatar to the audience” because her character is “pretty distinctive.”
