The title “Spare” was chosen for Prince Harry’s upcoming autobiography. The
Duke of Sussex’s nickname comes from the fact that he is King Charles III
and Princess Diana’s second child, making him a “spare” to Prince William,
who has since passed the mantle of the heir to their eldest son, Prince
George (9). On the cover of his 416-page book, Spare, due out on January
10, 2023, readers will get a close-up of Prince Harry’s face as he stares
straight ahead.
