West Indies won the T-20 World Cup tournament in a must-win match. This kept the hopes of the T-20 World Cup alive. In the first round Group-B match on Wednesday, West Indies defeated Zimbabwe by 31 runs. First, West Indies scored 153 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Johnson Charles (45), Powell (28), Akhil Hussain (23 not out) helped. Sikandar Raza (3/19) took three wickets. After that, ‘Man of the Match’ Alzari Joseph (4/16) burst with four wickets.. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 122 runs in 18.2 overs.
