According to new research, a dog’s social position among other dogs may
depend on how friendly it is.
Dogs with high scores for agreeableness and affection were found to be less
likely to have a dominant status in the group hierarchy, according to a
questionnaire designed to measure the personality traits of companion dogs
and compare them with their social ranking with other canines in multi-dog
families.
