Researchers have successfully used a swarm of small swimming robots to
eradicate pneumonia bacteria from mice’s lungs, increasing the possibility
that a comparable therapy could be created to cure fatal bacterial
pneumonia in humans.
The microbots are composed of algae cells and have an antibiotic
nanoparticle coating. The algae provide movement through the lungs, which
is essential for the treatment to be focused and efficient
