Kia India Private Limited donated Cardiology Cath Lab consumables to the
Super Specialty Block at Super Specialty Hospital at Anantapur as part of
a corporate services on Tuesday. The consumables are essential to perform
major and minor cardiac surgeries and treatments in the operation theatre
(Cath Lab) which is already equipped with the required infrastructure.
Consumables worth Rs. 50 lakhs in functioning of critical
heart care services for the patients with free-of-cost treatment by the
Government General Hospital involving services from Government Medical
College Anantapur. Cardiac Cath Lab was inaugurated by collector Naga
Lakshmi at the Super Specialty Hospital. Kia India Chief administrative
officer Mr. Kabdong Lee, Legal HoD Mr. Yonggil Ma , MLA Ananta Venkatrami
Reddy, Mayor Md. Vasim and several others attended the meeting.
CSR taken by Kia India so far include the plantation drive in
Subbarayuni Palli; Construction of the ‘Kia Library Block’ at Govt. Degree
College, Penukonda; Medical equipment & daycare shelter to Primary Health
Centre (PHC), Guttur, Penukonda; 03 lakh (3 ply) facemasks to local
administration; 10 lakh (3 ply) masks to AP State Disaster Management
Authority during the pandemic; Rs. 5 crores to the Andhra Pradesh State
Disaster Management Authority; Rs. 2 crores to Andhra Pradesh CM Relief
