Ten billion dollars are being invested by the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development, the African Development Bank, HSBC, and
CitiBank as part of the agreements to replace “inefficient thermal power
plants” with sustainable energy sources.
A big green hydrogen plant, which would use renewable energy to generate
hydrogen, will be built in Ain el-Sokhna, Egypt, on the Red Sea, according
to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi and Norwegian Prime Minister
Jonas Gahr Store.
