the intensity of his hunger strike by refusing to drink any liquids.
Sanaa Seif, one of Abdel-sisters, Fattah’s, has asked Vice President Joe
Biden to bring up her brother’s plight when he meets Egypt’s president on
the sidelines of the annual United Nations climate conference in Sharm
el-Sheikh on Friday. Abdel-Fattah wrote to his family that he was willing
to die in the strike unless he was freed, and his loved ones have raised
concerns that he is being force-fed by authorities.
