The South Korean military released a statement claiming to have seen 180
North Korean planes between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time, the
second day after Pyongyang is rumored to have attempted and failed to
launch an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
As reported by the United States, tensions on the Korean Peninsula have
been building since Monday, when the United States and South Korea launched
joint military drills called “Vigilant Storm,” in which hundreds of
aircraft and thousands of servicemen from both nations took part.
