Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba informed the media today that his
country plans to continue fighting Russian forces during the harsh winter.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, the Ukrainian military
has never had to combat in sub-zero temperatures.
During an exclusive interview with the media, Mr. Kuleba was asked if the
winter would “lockdown” the Ukrainian forces. He responded, “We will not
stop for a single day because every pause means more time for the Russians
to dig into the ground, to build fortifications, and to strengthen their
defensive lines in the occupied territories of Ukraine.”
