The head of the Congress party in Karnataka, Randeep Singh Surjewala,
expressed his satisfaction with the fast action taken by the Poll
Commission on Saturday by suspending two more district election officials
and ordering a study of the deletions and changes to the voters’ list.
Surjewala claimed that the in-charge Minister cum Chief Minister, Basavaraj
Bommai, and the Chief Commissioner of the BBMP, the Electoral Officer, were
behind widespread voting fraud and insisted that the EC file an FIR against
them so that a proper investigation could be conducted.
