Sandeep Singh Jhala, the chief executive of the Morbi Municipality, was
also questioned on Wednesday. The police have gathered evidence to show
that numerous people were involved in the October 30 collapse of the Morbi
bridge. 135 people perished in the collision.
The Oreva Group office, which held the contract for the bridge
reconstruction, was also searched by the police.
