A woman from Gurugram who was severely bit by a pet dog will receive Rs. 2 lakh in damages.

Gurugram: On Tuesday, the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum ordered
the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) to provide a woman who suffered
injuries after being attacked by a pet dog in August with interim
compensation of Rs 2 lakh. The forum also stated that the MCG can recover
this compensation sum from the dog owner if they choose.
