gave more than Rs 50 crore to the AAP and was promised a Rajya Sabha
nomination in exchange.

According to the Money Laundering Act and the Prevention of Corruption Act,
Chandrashekhar is prosecuted on several corruption charges. He claimed he
was compelled to provide Jain Rs 10 crore as “protection money” in a letter
to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena from Tihar prison.
