Aftab Amin Poonawala, the man suspected of murdering his live-in girlfriend
Shraddha Walker before chopping her body into 35 pieces and dumping it in
the Chhattarpur neighborhood of south Delhi, told police that the murder
was precipitated by an argument about moving furniture from Mumbai. After
investigating, police determined that Aftab killed Shraddha on May 18 due
to a quarrel between the pair. Sources from the Delhi Police Department say
that Aftab and Shraddha’s fight on May 18 was not the first of its kind in
the past three years.
