As part of efforts to get the word out and increase voter turnout in Delhi’s Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections, a new theme song called “Matdaan Karo” has been released.

The Delhi State Election Commission released a song titled “Matdaan Karo”
on Sunday, November 27, 2022, one week before the Municipal Corporation of
Delhi elections, to encourage people to participate in the upcoming
municipal elections on Sunday, December 4. The SEC claims to be running a
media-wide step through traditional and online media to get people
registered to vote and to use their votes.
