Since Delhi’s air quality has improved from “very poor” to “poor,” the
Commission for Air Quality Management has announced that it will conduct a
review on November 11. Under anonymity, a government official said that the
Centre’s air quality body may decide to lift the severe stage 3 of the
Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) restrictions in Delhi-NCR. Under GRAP
stage 3, all construction and destruction in Delhi-NCR are prohibited
except for vital projects. Furthermore, brick kilns, hot mix facilities,
and stone crushers are not permitted.
