Gopal Rai, the leader and minister for AAP Delhi claimed on Friday that if
his party is elected to power in the MCD, it will resolve the city’s
rubbish management issue within five years, despite the BJP’s 15-year
failure to do so. The party pledged to clean up the three waste sites and
deal with the issue of improper rubbish management in the capital when it
announced “Kejriwal’s 10 pledges” earlier this month in preparation for the
December 4 MCD elections. “It is not just AAP but the people of Delhi who
have been highlighting this issue,” Rai said in an interview with PTI.
