The recently concluded Karnataka state assembly elections have grabbed the headlines across the country. One of the key highlights of the elections was the Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which aimed to connect with voters across the state. However, the party failed to make a significant impact in the polls, winning only 30 seats out of the total 224.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest party with 105 seats, while the Janata Dal (Secular) managed to win 25 seats. The impact of Rahul Gandhi’s campaign is now being widely debated, with some analysts claiming that it failed to connect with the voters on the ground. Nonetheless, the Congress party has stated that it remains committed to its ideology and will continue to work towards building a better India.
