The two leaders are anticipated to discuss election plans during the meeting, which is viewed as Banerjee’s latest attempt to bring the Opposition together in advance of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
La Ganesan, the governor of West Bengal, invited the TMC chairman to the capital of Tamil Nadu to celebrate his older brother’s birthday on November 3, according to a statement made public by PTI. Several notable Tamil Nadu figures invited to the occasion may also meet Banerjee.
