A group of protesters yelled chants in support of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi during Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s roadshow on Sunday in
Gujarat, where Assembly elections will be conducted next month. The
incident occurred at Halol in Panchmahals district in the evening when the
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener was addressing a gathering during
the roadshow.
Mr. Kejriwal’s response was that the crowd might chant for anybody they
wanted, but he would ensure that all of their children had access to clean
drinking water and modern conveniences like the Internet. Further, he
predicted that the AAP would eventually win over even the pro-Modi
protesters.
