On Thursday, November 17, 2022, sources indicated that detectives in the
Mehrauli death case were planning to bring the accused, Aaftab Amin
Poonawala, to neighboring states like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand to
piece together the circumstances leading up to Shraddha Walker’s horrible
murder. A judge today extended Poonawala’s police custody for another five
days. As part of their investigation into Walker’s death, Mumbai police
would accompany Poonawala to the locations he and the victim visited after
leaving the city.
