Launching a withering attack on Congress ahead of the Himachal Pradesh
Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday in Solan
(Himachal Pradesh) that Congress is a guarantee of “corruption and selfish
politics.” The Prime Minister spoke highly of the initiatives and progress
made by the BJP-led state administration. When he spoke at the Solan ‘Vijay
Sankalp Rally,’ PM Modi said, “A BJP government will benefit Himachal
Pradesh’s stability. Unpredictability plagued Delhi for thirty whole years.
Repeated elections resulted in squandering thousands of rupees while
governments came and went. Voters in 2014 showed their preference for
steady leadership.”
