After Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP defeated the BJP on Wednesday and took over the
Delhi Municipal Council, a vicious game of who is to blame for the city’s
current predicament has begun. During the heated campaign for the Municipal
Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia
accused the BJP of trying to “poach newly-elected AAP councilors” and vowed
that none of them would fall for their “game.” According to the AAP’s No. 2
leader, freshly elected council members have been ordered to record “such
phone calls” if they receive any.
