Six people have been detained along with a large arsenal after a terror funding and recruitment module was discovered in Kupwara, Jammu, and Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Army were able to disrupt a
well-entrenched terror finance and recruitment structure in North Kashmir,
marking a significant victory in the fight against the perpetrators of
terrorism in Kashmir. After receiving various tips about a man named Bilal
Ahmed Dar from the Cheerkote region of Kupwara district, the Army and the
Kupwara police conducted a joint operation to capture him in the Nutnussa
and Lolab neighborhoods of the city, according to SSP Kupwara Yougal
Manhas. Following his arrest and extensive interrogation, the SSP said, “he
revealed that he and five other people from different parts of North
Kashmir were running a terror funding racket under the guise of a fake NGO
called “Islahi Falahi Relief Trust” (IFRT) that claimed to provide
financial assistance to poor and needy families.
