Court postponed Friday’s hearing in the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi
mosque matter until November 28.
The court has ruled that the case will proceed on the next scheduled
hearing date.
Attorney C S Vaidyanathan, representing the temple’s side, said a survey by
the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will help determine the apparent
reality.
He said that it is evident that the contested mosque premises are a part of
the temple only by looking at them with one’s naked eye and that the survey
should proceed.
However, the court postponed the case until November 28 after a plea by the
mosque’s administration.
