The BJP-led government in Uttar Pradesh has added three additional cities
to the police commissioner system. The proposal to introduce the police
commissioner system in the cities of Agra, Ghaziabad, and Prayagraj in the
third phase was approved by the UP cabinet during its meeting on Friday.
