Chilwell collapsed to the ground after pulling up toward the conclusion of
Chelsea’s 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge, likely in a battle for the
left-back position with Luke Shaw.
A few minutes later, Chilwell looked to tell Mason Mount, a teammate for
Chelsea and England, that “it popped” as Mount threw his head back in shock
as he was being taken off the field by two people.
Chilwell’s injury, according to Chelsea manager Graham Potter, “doesn’t
look good.”
