Harry Brook scored his third century

Harry Brook’s third century in as many matches as Ben Foakes’ half-century
gave England a 29-run lead over Pakistan on Sunday on day two of the last
Test in Karachi.
Brook hit 111 to extend his excellent start to Test cricket, forming
partnerships with Ollie Pope, Ben Stokes, and Chris Foakes.
Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed each took four wickets as England was bowled for
354 in response to Pakistan’s 304.
England lost two wickets quickly after resuming on 7-1. Nauman trapped Ben
Duckett lbw and then had Joe Root out for a duck.
Brook denied Nauman a hat-trick, keeping England’s pursuit alive despite
Pope being bowled by Abrar and Stokes being run out.
Brook and Foakes restarted England’s innings before Mohammad Wasim lbw’d
Brook.
Foakes scored 64 but skied a Nauman delivery to mid-on, where Shafique
collected it.
Jack Leach and Ollie Robinson scored 30 runs to end England’s innings
before Abrar bowled Robinson.
Shafique ended day two on 14 and Shan Masood on 3; England took no wickets.
England won the first Test by 74 runs and the second by 26 to win their
first Pakistan series since 2000-01.
